By the late 1700's weaving had become fully industrialized. Factory made cloth was readily available worldwide. Loom woven sashes figured prominently in the fur trade era. Much more economical than the finger-woven type, the loom woven sash is a very reasonable option for the money-conschious re-enactor. Common width, according to fur trade inventories, indicates 4 to 6 inches wide. Length depends upon your needs.
